Content Structure
What is a Lesson?
A lesson is the smallest unit of learning on UniDrills. It consists of a single video that explains a specific definition, illustration, or sample problem. Each lesson may include attached notes for review and interactive quizzes that appear at different points in the video to test your understanding.
What is a Chapter?
A chapter is a structured collection of lessons that cover a significant concept. Chapters typically include theoretical explanations and practical worked examples to ensure a comprehensive grasp of the material.
What is a Course?
A course is a complete academic programme made up of several chapters. It is designed to explain a major topic in a structured manner, guiding a learner from fundamental principles to advanced applications.
What is a Learning Track?
A learning track is a curated group of online courses that, when taken in sequence, cover a broad subject. It is comparable to studying a full subject or course in a regular school curriculum and is designed for learners seeking comprehensive mastery of a field.
Enrolment and Access
What is Open Access (Free) Enrolment?
For courses where the instructor has enabled it, you can select Open Access enrolment. This option allows you to watch a limited number of introductory videos for free to preview the content. You can only use the Open Access option for an eligible course once. If a course offers this, you will see a Start for FREE button on its page. Open Access is not available for Learning Tracks.
What is Paid Enrolment?
Paid Enrolment grants you full and unrestricted access to all content within a course or learning track, including all videos, notes, quizzes, and downloadable resources. This is required to earn a certificate of completion.
Payment Information
Can I pay at once?
Yes. You can purchase a course or learning track with a single, one-time payment. This grants you immediate full access to all its content and ensures you are eligible for any applicable discounts or promotional offers.
How does paying in instalments work?
If you choose to pay in instalments, your access to the course or learning track content is unlocked progressively. You gain access to a portion of the content commensurate with the payment you have made, and more content becomes available as you complete subsequent payments. Please note that selecting the instalment option makes you ineligible for any discounts or promotional offers.
